I think my problem lies with the keyless entry receiver. I am wondering if anyone has replaced theirs and what the results were.

I just got off the phone with CHEVY and this part is apparently discontinued.

 

You're probably better off getting an aftermarket system. I'm sure that if they still made it, that part alone would cost you probably the same amount of money as a system.

 

just curious as to what problems you are having, because I think mine is having issues too.

but yeah, best bet is to go aftermarket, or maybe one from a part out
