Aluminum radiator

I've heard that if I want to take my 96 z28 to the road track for HPDE, then I need to upgrade my radiator to aluminum to make it through several laps of hard driving over the course of the day.

Re: Aluminum radiator

I have done some fairly spirited driving and not had over heating issues. Before you drop that kind of money, I would give it a try first.

Yep, try it first. I’ve done quite a bit of HPDEing with a stock cooling system. 🙂

I'll just give the radiator and heater core a good flush before I go. Thanks for the input.
