Is it at all possible....

To put a shift boot on my A4 console? I know it might sound dumb, but I think it may look cool. Is there any simple way of doing this without cutting anything or generally messing with stuff I shouldn't mess with?

go to a junk yard and get a shift boot out of a 99 buick regal. thats what i did and it was very little modification to put it in, took me 4 hours total and 3 of them was letting the glue dry.

My 94 auto has a shift boot from an 00 SS 6spd. It actually looks very nice, people usually mistake it for a 6spd until they see no clutch pedal. If I can get my camera to work I'll send a picture.
