Angry Aghhh

As funny as it may sound i cant seem to reset that change oil light!!!?? Does any body know how?? Im driving a 2000 Z28. thanx

With the key in the ignition and turned to the RUN position, hold down the TRIP ODOMETER switch and look to the left of your gauge display. When you see OIL CHANGE or CHANGE OIL (I forgot exactly what it says) flash two times (it'll be orange words) your oil life monitor is reset.

or you can pump the gas pedal a few times and it will do the same thing without reseting your trip

I think thats how factory service techs do it

I know that works in some GM vehicles ..... don't know if it'll work for F-bodies though??? Although, I've never tried??

I think it works, but remember to turn the key to RUN and don't start the car first before depressing the pedal.

at are shop most gm we just turn key on to ON postion . wait for the Dings to stop and then press gas pedal fully 3 times . thats it .
