Adhesive advise needed

Anyone have their e-brake rubber boot come unattached from under the console, and if so what product did you glue the rubber back to the plastic with?

You can go to any upholstery shop and get the fabric glue they use. It may or may not hold long term though. Since those pieces are relatively inexpensive I would look into replacing it. Always check ebay and the local salvage yards first before paying more than full price at a dealer.

Good luck.

Click the linky above to see one.

Since it is the whole center console I would probably just try the fabric glue first.
If that does not work you could go to lowes and buy a product called underwater marine goop...it looks and smells just like airplane glue and it strong...even under water...lol
Hope any of my ramblings helped.

I have the same prob. It is the only crappy lookin thing inside my car. I hot glued it and it came apart. That auction is a good find. Except that there are two holes drilled into it where the parking brake handle would go.

Dang,
I went back and saw what you were speaking of. Yep, looks as if he had some switches going on in his ride. Gotta keep looking, but if I find a clean one at a good price I will post back a link.
