Adding Power Windows and Locks to 4th gen?

How and what do I need to add power windows and door locks on my 96 SS?

Its a 1LE, and I kinda feel bad adding these, but its two things that are really nice to have.

Why spend money to have something that will eventully break? I'd leave it how it is. Also theres less weight which is a plus.

after I answer will you open the gate.. I want to go swimming..

The locks are simple and any alarm shop can do that for you. I doubt its any real weight added (5lbs total my guess).

As for the windows, you would be better off looking for whole doors (off some wrecked car with power windows) and using those. That would effectively give you both options seeing as how you couldnt get one without the other from GM.

http://car-part.com/ may be of some help..
Its a salvage yard search by part and location.

I wouldnt do it either especially to a 1LE, mostly because I hate replacing these stupid window motors that seem to burn up over night.
