Accessory Beltlife

Hi:
I am a believer in preventative maintenance, and I like to stay ahead of problems.
I have a 99 LS1 with 70000 miles on the clock. I am wondering how long one can depend on the serpentine accessory drive belt, and how long should the upper and lower coolant hoses last.
I hate to think of being out in the Mojave Desert and having either item pack it in.

Don't know how long they last, I just inspect mine periodically for any signs of a problem/wear. Not hard to change them out to be safe. If I replaced my serpentine belt I'd do the AC belt at the same time.

Yes, inspection is the key.
