AC quit but compressor stays engaged??

Hopped in the '99 TA and the AC now does not work. Worked fine a few days ago. Compressor comes on when supposed to and does not cycle on and off like it would if it were low on refrigerant.
Also the high side line gets hot but the low side line does not get cold.

Maybe a clog somewhere, any suggestions for an easy fix if there is still sufficient pressure in the low side? Will put a gauge on it tomorrow when I have free time.

Yeah, put gauges on it first. Sounds like the compressor is working though if the high side is getting hot. Low suction/high head pressure could be a restirction. Wouldn't hurt to check for any AC codes either.

Ok, gauge indicates 30. Put a 16oz can in and now its up to about 42 and its blowing cold. As soon as I hooked the can up, the low side line got cold.
I think I found the leak, looks like there may have been some oil residue all over the cap at the inlet port on the accumulator.
I cleaned it all off and a little dab of soap on it would blow up a small bubble.
I put the cap on tight, but will check it again tomorrow.
