AC Problem - Hot Air, compressor runs
Tried searching but couldn't find a similar problem. Car is a 95 TA with R134a. First time using AC this year and it was blowing warm air. Ambient was around 90F and I was getting ~95F discharge from the vents at this time. I figured low refrigerant so I pick some up along with a low side pressure gauge.
With the compressor off, static pressure was in the 100s somewhere. Turned the compressor on and low side was at 70psi. I let some refrig out (bad me) until low side was 30 psi. I'm now getting 105F discharge air from the vents. Suction line to the compressor stayed warm the whole time, I'd guess 95-100F.
So, compressor runs and I'm getting proper low side pressures but there's no cooling going on. Doesn't seem like the blend door is stuck because the suction line doesn't get cold. Almost seems like the system is full of air? Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

Re: AC Problem - Hot Air, compressor runs
Thanks, I figured that's about the only way to do it. Since two other vehicles of family members need an evac/refill, I'll just order a vac pump and gauge set and do it myself.
