Hi I am going to be replacing my ac lines on my 96 z28. I just want to know what is the best way to remove and replace the line that connects to the rear of the ac compressor. Thanks https://pontiworld.com.au/usgmsp/images/PW10396.jpg
This is the line I am concerned about. Is removing the ac compressor the easiest way?

 

I replaced the line today I lowered the sway bar then removed the ac compressor bolts and pulled the unit forward. It was not that bad once I had the compressor moved. After recharging the system the ac would not get cold. I ran it for 30min and it was not cold. But lucky me after the car sat for about 5hrs I started it back up and turned the ac on; this time it was freezing. I don't know why it was not cold right after the recharge but I am happy it works great now.
