AC condensation leak

Hi,
I recently pulled up the carpet in my 95 Z28 and discovered that the AC has been dripping (more like pouring) condensation down the inside of the firewall on the passenger side. The AC drain hose is clear and it also drips a fair amount outside the car as it should. Any thoughts on what would cause this and how to remove the duct work and such on the passenger side to actually see where this originates?

Thanks

sounds more like to me your heater core is leaking. smell the carpet and see if it smells like coolant

AC condensation leak

Thanks but it is coming from the evaporator somewhere. The water is clear and cool (not green and warm) and has no smell. Also, I now have removed the heater core cover so I can see the heater core and it isn't leaking. I'm trying to decide if I really want to drain the coolant, remove the heater core and remove the evaporater cover so I can see more. The AC works great so I'm thinking maybe there's a rusty condensation collection pan or something back there I could fix. Otherwise, it has to go to the AC shop.

All you need to do is clear the evaporator drain with some compressed air or a coat hanger.

I think the drain is partially blocked, clear the drain thoroughly and I'm sure you will be fine.
