AC Compressor Smoke?

if you want a simple answer. your compressor is shot and you need another one. Thats the best coruse of action that there is. chances are your clutch went bad and was contacting the hub and it finaly took out the hub bearing. Replace that, the drier and h valve along with a good flush, add oil, replace everything, prime the compressor and recgarge the system.





for the guy with the dead H valve. yes you are lucky. We had a saturn damn near melt down like that the other day. the head pressure went sky high and the low side was too hot to even touch. smoking all over, not pretty
