Question 95 z28 Headlight problem

Well this is my second camaro , the first one was a 93 and they both have this problem. The Right Low Beam sometimes doesn't come on but If I pop the hood and close it the Headlamp comes on. Is the bulb loose or something? If I remember correctly the bulbs and lamp are One piece, I hate to replace the whole headlamp. Because I know the new one is gonna look totally different than the other three. Anybody else ever have this problem? Solutions? Will I have to remove the Header panel to check the bulb out?

Could be the sealed beam or the connection. The owner's manual has instructions on how to remove the beam (two torx screws from the front-pretty easy). If you want, you can swap it with the other side and see if the trouble follows.
