95 Convertable Top HELP!!!

My daughters car. 95Z with convertible top. Last year it started to slow a bit when raising and lowering the top with the power switch. Now this year it wont lower at all. Any ideas? can this be bypassed so she can put it up and down manually? Thanks all in advance.

Re: 95 Convertable Top HELP!!!

If you look in the Car's Manual it will probably tell you how to do it, I am pretty sure you can raise and lower by hand but you have to release the hydraulic pressure first!

Re: 95 Convertable Top HELP!!!

first check to see if your getting voltage to the motor. it could have blown the fuse if the is a mechanical issue.
