'94 Z for-sale (needs motor)?
I came across a 1994 Z28 today being sold with out the drivetrain, I just had to put mine back in my car so I know how to do it. I also have a 1995 LT1 (impala SS) engine and i can get a tranny. what Id like to know is if its worth it? Hes asking $2500 as is? whats the going rate of a car in this condition?
Thanks in advance

That thing will nickel and dime you to death. Your chance of making a profit would be very low. Once somebody else takes it apart, it gets damn expensive to find 100% of the missing pieces. Then you'll drive it and find 5 other problems to suck up your cash.
It's best use would be to rebuild a wreck, or drag car.

Re: '94 Z for-sale (needs motor)?
I do this sort of stuff all the time. My rule is that I never put more than %50 of the (quick sell) value into fixing the car. For example, A car that would have a top dollar price of 6k would have a 4.5-5k quick sale value. With a car like this you don't want to have to wait around for someone to buy it. You want it gone fast.
In your situation if I had a line on all the parts for the car. I would offer the guy no more than $1000 to $1500 for the body. You can get a running 93 or 94 for 3-4k. Never pay top dollar for someones project car they lost interest in.
Good luck
