93 z28 camaro

i got a z28 93 model with a lt1. i wonder....how hard is it to put a ls1 in my car. and how hard is it!

This topic has been beat to death on many boards so try a search first.

IMO it would be easier.... far easier to just buy an LS1 car. you can pick them up for around 5-6k now b/c they are getting up there in age.

An LS1/tranny and k-member and harness could be around 5k by itself not to mention lots of other misc parts.

Learn to love the LT1.

You have a 93 too, many slight differences from ALL other LT1's.

yeah, but i got so many people telling me that lt1 suck and just get a ls1 when i go to the track.

That sounds like some logic there. Next time tell them LS1's suck and to get a LS9.

With the money you would spend putting in an LS1, you could easily have a much faster LT1.
