93-97 conversion to 98-up
Re: 93-97 conversion to 98-up
This is just an opinion, but I think the 98 and up LS1 Camaro styling is not nearly as sweet as the LT1 style you already have.
In my opinion, a conversion like this would be a step backwards, and a waste of money.
This is of course, just my opinion.

I used to like the lt-1 style, but i've grown to love the ls1 style front clip... However, putting an ls1 clip on an lt1 is a lot like a v6 putting a z28 tag on their fender, or a z28 swapping for SS stickers. It's just wrong. LOL

i agree with you guys BUT....
i love the look of the trans am ws6 hood, front bumper and hatch. if i got that stuff for my car, i would def. not label it trans am! it's a firebird formula

Re: 93-97 conversion to 98-up
The front end of the new LS1s may not look as aggressive as the LT1, but let me tell you... the visibility at night is unbelievable. I can see much better with my 98 than I ever could with my lt1. In comparison, the brights on the LT1 aren't as effective as the regular mode headlights on my 98. Not to mention they're a little more aerodynamic and, I think, easier to clean.
