92 production questions

i have a 92 camaro z28 5 speed 305. i have not seen many 5 speeds when i was looking to buy, and was just wondering if there was somewhere i could find out how many z28 5 speeds were made that year. i'd like to know how many were made in my color, or with my interior also, i;m wondering if it is something that is not too common. any help is appreciated
thanx

Re: 92 production questions

check thirdgen.org then in the tech database
they've got some numbers there
if youw ant to go more indepth, i think there is a book called the camaro "white book"
it has everything you would ever want to know from 67-02 camaros
good luck

Re: 92 production questions

I think with that year model, most were getting the L98 -350 with the 700R4 auto instead of the 305.

Most of my friends had them. Fun cars.
I never met anyone with the 5 speed.

Re: 92 production questions

for anyone who might want to know, 20.3% of 92 camaro's were manual, and only % had a limited slip differential, both of which i have there were a total of 70,007 camaros built that year, including 3,816 convertibles.

Re: 92 production questions

Out of toal production of about 70,000 a total of 14,250 were 5-sp cars all models (no breakdown). And for your color it was 14,779 exact (again no breakdown for models). Really why care, a lot of 3rd Gen cars out there and not one of them is rare.
