Hey folks - new member.

Last winter I bought a 88 IROC 5 spd convertible. I just took it out of storage. I cannot figure out how to put the top down correctly into a stowed position so the targa cover will lay down flat. Seems like it would be simple enough but I can't figure out if I am not doing it right or if something is now bent and won't allow it to lay flat on one side. It's not addressed in the owners manual that I have.

The top itself and the window are in perfect shape but the threaded rod on one side is definitely snapped. I assume I can get a new frame but transfer the top.
