aaite guys i need some price guesstimations i gotta line on a 1968 327 powerglide car its royal bluish color (supposedly original paint) one owner white ragtop all of it is in mint condition the car has been sheltered always and looks awesome rally rims the the works, if u guys can give me a ballpark figure on the worth of this car it would be very helpfull im looking to buy it off and older guy and simply turn it over for a buck, let me know what u think i sell this car for, it does not need restoration has no rust, pain isnt even bubbled under the rear bumper or anywhere for that matter, thanks
First thing you need to check is the third number in the vin. to make sure it is a V-8 from birth. If it's a 4 your good on the 327.Next, check the block to see if it's numbers matching. This can change the price by thousands of dollars.Located on left side front of engine where the head meets the block. How much documentation? Check the cowl tag to verify exterior and intreior collors. If it's all original and in really nice shape you can probably get 20,000-25,000.I just sold my 68 SS clone(350) that had no pannel untouched by my hands, and you need to really look the car over. Remember that It's 39 yrs. old and rust Is somewhere.
