4th gen interchangability

I have been wondering about something. I like the Camaro interior, but I like the red lighting and general layout the Firebirds' gauges have better... I was wondering if the cluster, climate control ***** and shift indicator (auto) are interchangable (swap, plug and play so to speak). If so, I would love to pull some at the junk... anyone have an idea about this? I already swapped for the T-handle, so this would be a cool little mod I think...

Not true. For the 93-02 firebird and 97-02 Camaro stuff, all the illuminated bits swap over EXCEPT for the headlight switch. The cluster, radio, HVAC, and auto console are direct replacements. I'm not sure off the top of my head, but I believe the firebird headlight controls are larger than the Camaro ones, so you might be able to just trim the light up overlay to fit the Camaro's switch. Only thing missing will be the fog light switch, which doesn't have an equivalent from the firebird because the switch is completely different.

You might want to consider just getting replacement bulbs to make everything light up red. Except for the radio. That requires some soldering to change color.

Not the stock radio haha. It was just an idea I had when I rode around in a friends v6 bird, and really liked how the gauges looked.
