89 rs camaro, stopped car and turned off and the cooling fan stayed on , never done that before, I let it run for about 30 minutes then disconnected the battery and disconnected the fan. I reconnected the fan with a connecter that I can disconnect to stop the fan without undoing everything. Now the fan goes back and forth where it will stop like normal and sometimes it stays on. Where is the fan relay on these cars or is it something else? Thanks

 

IIRC,i believe the relay is near the battery on the pass. side on the core support. follow the wires from the fan motor just to be sure tho.

 

it depends, if the car is dual fan, look over by the batt, if single, it is one the relays by the brake booster, it is a oval relay{s}
