Which ones should i get? I would just like some feedback on how gas mileage will be etc. i know obviously that the 4.11 will get the worst and 3.73's will get the best out of the selection but how much better? Im going from 2.73's right now so anything will be an upgrade from what i have.

 

Well in a A4 3.73 will make u faster and lighter and better gas mileage! so 3.73's without a doubt!

 

I started out with 2.73's and I just swapped into 3.73's a few weeks ago......I wouldn't go all the way to 4.11's if I were you.....3.73's are more than adequate.

In an A4 even 3.73 is kind of high.

 

Everyone I've talked to that has done a gear swap with an A4 has gone 3.73. I heard nothing but positive things about it....

 

I guess I meant that be a little high for me. In my M6 I can always go into 6th...but in an A4 you run out of gears quick.

 

Well I don't do much highway driving......actually, none at all. The fastest I'd be going steadily around town would be like 55.

 

i put 3.73's in my IROC, ended up around 3200 ant 75mph

 

I'm around 2500 at about 70.

 

3.73 all the way

 

I'm at 1500, ouch.

 

Well we all don't have six gears, now do we?

 

Why not go completely nuts?

4.56's or 5.13's!

 

Go 4.10's. Everyone who says theyre bad etc etc have never tried them. Theyve heared the he say she say and passed it along. I like my 4.10's. Dont fear the gear.
