2002 Z28 instument cluster

Heres the deal. A lot of my warnign lights (SES, ABS, AIR BAG, LOW OIL, ext.) are not lighting up. And if i remember correctly it was throwing a code for the SES light. I pulled out my cluster and when i was looking over the circuit board i saw a few scratches and digs in it. Could this be my reason? Or the car did come from an auction, so could somebody have tampered elewhere in the harness so these lights would not lgiht up? I'm thinking of just getting a cluster but before i do that i would like to be alittle more sure thats what i need. Thanks for the help.

sounds they messed with the cluster if there deeps scratches in the board you could hook up a scanner to see what codes it has should be able to come across a cluster good luck

ALright guys i replaced the gauge cluster and fixed my problem. But i have a new problem. My AIR BAG light and ABS lght are stuck on. Now i know that neither one works so is there a way i can get those lights off? Mabey some kind of resitor to put in the plug to fool it? Any help will be appreciated.
