2002 1le?

I saw this on eBay today and it says it's a 2002 1LE SS. My Camaro White Book doesn't show a 1LE option for 2002 though. Is this legit or what?

The SLP sticker on the door shows they added the 1LE package. Normally it is an RPO that is done at the factory. Maybe that is the confusion.

The door sticker is what confused me because they didn't have a factory 1LE option... at least not according to my White Book. So would that make this a "rare" car or a "different" car?

I guess it depends on how many "1LE" options SLP added to those cars. IMO, they would be the ones to ask.

All of the factory SLP options listed on the door sticker and the SLP order form appear to be correct. When I ordered my 2001 SS in Apr 01, my SLP order form was identical to the one listed with this car.

However, I see that he has the high flow lid but it is not listed on any of the SLP documentation. This lid was an option in 2002 (unfortunaley for me, not in 2001) and when combined with the CME or Dual/Dual exhaust produced an extra 10 HP for a total of 345 which should also be noted on some documentation. Given that this car was an early production 2002 model perhaps the paperwork for the high flow lid was not available at the time of sale.
