2001 SS Questions?

Hi,

This is my first post so I wasn't sure where to put this but here it goes.

I'm looking at buying a 2001 SS for $20,000. It is in very nice condition with just 3,000 miles on it. It had since new installed the following SLP stuff: center mount exhaust (car was made in May of '01), 17 10 spoke chrome wheels, and SS grill. Only flaw is a small chip in the hood that I can touch up easily with paint. Options from GM are, t-tops, preferred equipment group, Monsoon sound with cassette, automatic, leather, and traction control. Color is Sunset Orange Metallic. I looked and production is low at 170 units.

How fair is this price? I live in Ct.
He has the original window sticker along with the SLP one but does not have the certificate of birth? Is this easy to get?

Here are a few pictures of it.

Thanks.
