200,000 miles! Anybody else done it?

I just flipped 200,000 miles today on my 93 3.4 liter camaro. Keep in mind this is on the original engine and transmission, no rebuilds. I was wondering how many people out there have done the same. Should I be proud or is it a fairly common occurrence?

By the way, if you're that interested, you can click the first link in the ol' sig and go to the second page.

It definitely gives you bragging rights to those who say only Honda and Toyota engines can put up 200K+ miles.

I've got a 92 buick roadmaster limited with an LT1 that has 230,000 on it, and a 97 Camaro with 3.8 that has 140,000 and I put over 3000 miles a month on it commuting back and forth to work. The only problem the 3.8 has ever had was a cracked exhaust manifold, and I had to replace the waterpump on the lt1 in the buick once. I'm waiting for the 3,8 to go. I want to rebuild it with forged pistons and put a small cheap turbo on it like a TO4 or something.

I always found it funny, it is when we are "waiting" for out motors to die (because we have awesome rebuild plans) that they never fail. If is when we dont want them to die is when it happens.

Done it! Only if you count the total mileage on my previous TWO F-bodies.

Re: 200,000 miles! Anybody else done it?

my 95 lt1 has 110,000 miles on it, i too am waiting for it to go, then im rebuilding it with 383 stroker and someday getting a vortech supercharger. but yeah soon as i get the 383 which will be never cuz the motor runs like a damn champ, i will prolly end up blowin that too and that'd just suck.
