if you would have had a quicker reaction time you'd be in the low 14's. but otherwise cool

Don't listen to the above post, that guy has no idea what hes talking about. Your reaction time has no impact on your time.

Your 60 isen't the best, but it looks like you probably need a tune up because even with a 2.0 you wouldn't break 13s.

Reaction means nothing to your time as previously stated. For the 2.3 60' you should be pulling in the 14s however.

First, before you over anylyze this: The biggest factors in performance for most lighly modded street cars are weather, and driver. I don't know about the driver part, BUT, what was the weather like when you ran?

Since you most likely won't know, I would use use this website:
It will give the weather conditions for a city at a certain time of day:
http://www.weatherunderground.com

Once you have the temp, humidity, track altitude, and pressure:
Punch those numbers into this calculator:
http://www.modulardepot.com/density.php

This will give you a corrected time.
BEFORE I GET FLAMED TO DEATH:
I wouldn't go about quoting this time as the time you run, I would simply use it as a tool to see if you fall into the normal category for what you car would expect to run under optimal conditions.

Let us know what it turns out to be...

Re: 1st time at track and ran 15

Hey, you all are so helpful, the results i got from that website were

Temp: 86°
Humidity: 58%
Track Altitude: 600 feet
Pressure: 29.85 in.

Density Altitude = 2854 feet ET MPH
Uncorrected 15 @ 93.95
Corrected 14.5 @ 97.09

plugs/wires have 10k on them, coil has about 8k on it,fuel fiter 7k, maybe if I had better tires I'd pick up the extra few tenths?

Re: 1st time at track and ran 15

You need to do something to get your mph up... the weather and altitude wasn't that bad...

did you let off before the end of the track?

aren't stock lt1s trapping like low 100 mphs?

my 1st 94 z28 120k miles, stock, ran a 14.5, beat my friends 03 gt with a few bolt ons , how many miles are on ur car? run strong? i think you can pull low 14's, high 13's under the right conditions if ur car is still a strong runner, did u only run it once?
