when to a dealer yesterday and in his showrrom had a PERFECTLY restored 69 Z coupe w/ the 302/4 speed- he wants $49K for it - i assume it is because of the rarity of the 302 camaros (but for some reason i thought that motor appeared a couple years later ~'72)-

but ,then again, i do not know all that much about the 1st gens


also i was at a car show a few days back and a guy had a 69 w/ a 350 4 speed he wanted $5K
-his car was pretty clean, but i noticed some bondo work on the door- engine bay was a little messy, but the interior was beautiful.

Im asking because, down the road, i want 1st gen- but dont know what i want to do with it yet!

This forum might help..... Most first gens I have seen start around $1,500.00 and up.......
