1995 Z28

I have a chance to buy a 1995 Camaro Z28. It is purple with t-tops. I'm wondering what it is making for power. It has hooker lt, flowmaster 3" exhaust, LS1 style y-pipe, !cat, CAI, B&M Ripper shifter, and aluminum DS. It is also a 6 speed with a newer clutch. I can get the car for $4000 with 144,000 miles and it looks to be in GREAT condition. What do you guys thing I'm making for power and does it seem to be a good deal?

Thanks

1995 stock was 275hp, you may have an addtl 15 to 20 hp with that combo. 4 grand isnt a bad price if it's in the condition you say it's in.

Personally, I wouldn't buy a 144K mile modded car, but it's might not be too bad of a deal for $4K. Depends how it's been maintained.

My uneducated guesstimate would be somewhere in the 270-280rwhp range. Buy it and take it to a dyno and you'll find out for sure.

I forgot to say the trans was rebuilt 500 miles ago and he believes the engine has approx 80,000 miles. but he has no proof of this.
