**Horn sticks**

I know its not LT1 specific related but today while detailing the inside of my ride I unintentionally hit my horn and it kept honking!! LOL I hit a couple of times but to no prevail it kept honking. So now I got her just sitting with the battery disconnect. Any tips on this would be greatly appreciative. Take care

Re: **Horn sticks**

You needn't disconnect the battery - the horn fuse would have done the trick.

If it happened after you hit the horn button on the wheel then I would bet that it's the switch itself inside your steering wheel that is stuck closed.

That sucks!

On the plus side you won't have to do any appearance mods to attract attention to your car.

How long did it take you to get the battery connections off while your horn was freaking out on you?

She is not my daily driver but since I had planned on getting her inspected this week. The horn must be in operational status in order to pass the vehicle inspection. What would be the easiet way of popping the steering wheel cover. I don't have to worry about engaging the airbag system since I took everything air-bag related minus the bag in the steering wheel. (sensors in engine bay and passenger air bag)
