Help!

last night coming home from south florida, went though some rain and my camaro started acting up. first it acted like it ran out of gas and just died, i pulled off the road and it fired right back up. as i was driving i noticed the tach would be arractticly jumping RPMs, and it would start to miss and die, but it still would fire right back up. it seem to run ok in 5 gear and at 3000rpms. i made it home. but now the car wont start. check for spark at plugs with no avail. check fire from coil and nothing. i would hate to go buy a coil and it still not work. how do i test the coil to see if it is bad. could it be the pcm, distributor, or what. please help.

I had a similar situation.. got caught out in a big down poor and a big puddle soaked my opti. It sputtered and died. Fired right back up. But started getting progressively worse.. hesitating, stumbling, snorting and farting.

It wasn't awesome. Swapped out the opti, good to go. Its a pita by the way..
