Vacuum line at back of engine

There is a vacuum line that comes from the wiring harness at the back passenger side of the engine. It comes from the really thick part of the harness where it y's off into the passenger side and driver side harnesses that run to the front of the engine.

What is this for and what does it connect to? Is it fuel related. CCP (charcoal canister) discharge possibly?

That is for your HVAC controls. It does not go to the front of the engine. It goes to the check valve, then inside the car and to the vacuum canister.
