runs like crap after big puddle?

I drove through a big puddle about 2 weeks ago the car ran fine all the way home, then the next day I fired her up and she ran like crap, so I let her dry for a couple days she runs ok but it just dosnt have the power she used to? Could I have foulded a plug when the opti got wet and it hasnt returned to normal? It seems like there is a slight miss. I just put new autolite 104's gapped to .035 right before the puddle.

You could always pull some plugs and see if there is evidence of fouling. I would also make sure the wires have good, firm connections. Also, how old are the wires, have they been changed recently as well?

I have only owned the car for 2 months, Bought it with a bad tranny, The wires look factory so with 140k I should probly replace them.Would the duralast plug wires be ok?

If those wires are original, then I would say they are definitely due. I'm not a big fan of the Autozone parts, personally, I would stick with a Delco replacement set or maybe an aftermarket alternative.

I got the duralast plug wires and a new coil for $60 the wires appear to be well made. For some reason the car ran awesome tonight, the weather was a little cooler maybe thats why? Guess Ill throw the new coil and wires on and see if that helps.
