Noob injector install
Alright well the shop that usually does all the maintenance on my car is asking way to much to put in new injectors, something like 500 bucks...so ive decided im going to do it on my own. Ive never done this before so I need some help on what to do. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

ive never done them on a lt1 but i was in the same boat with my ls1. i was going to pay a shop to do it but i just stared at them for a while and i couldnt believe how easy they were. try posting same question in your local forum and maybe someone can swing by and help you out.
just make sure after you put the new ones in, the car will work with them and the same programming, or schedule the pcm to be tuned around the same time

Very easy.
1. Buy a fuel line removal tool kit at any parts shop.
2. Use the correct size above tool to slip off the two fuel lines from the rail, fuel will spray but don't worry.
3. Remove the vacuum line attached to the manifold that runs to the fuel pressure regulator.
4. Remove the four screw securing the fuel rail to the top of the intake.
5. Rock the fuel rail left and right to dislodge the injectors from the intake.
6. Remove the rail with the injectors still attached as one complete assembly.
7. Remove the retainer clips securin the injectors.
8. Remove the injector by pulling them out of the rail.
Install is reverse, but be sure to lightly lube the o-rings with Vaseline to avoid tearing them.
This is very easy to do, just take your time. The most difficult part is just dislodging the injectors from the intake during removel. $500 is a rip off, I can replace all injectors in no more than 45 minutes.

A couple more suggestions:
blow the dirt off the intake manifold before starting to keep dirt from falling into the intake
use motor oil to lube the injector o-rings
don't over torque the fuel rail bolts when installing as they will break off
remove the gas cap and depress the Schrader valve (looks like a tire valve) on the fuel rail (with a rag underneath) to get rid of any built up fuel pressure
