New Fuel Pump

Is it possible to get just the fuel pump with out buying the entire assembly after market or otherwise? And if so were?

There are fuel pumps that are close to a stock replacement but they don't fit well in the stock fuel bucket. I installed a Walbro 255 lph pump and it was a pain in the ***. Some people ditch the fuel bucket, but this bucket serves a purpose (you can read about it on the Racetronix site). If I had to do it over again, I would have gone the Racetronix route. The extra few dollars is worth it for the easier installation. I helped a friend install the Racetronix kit and it's a much better solution.

You don't need to spend the money for the upgraded wiring harness if you have near stock fuel demands.

I believe the Holleys are a direct replacement for the third-gens. I'm not sure how they would work on the 4ths.

Oops, sorry 2000 GTP, I meant to quote OBE1 95Z28 to point out your link.

The bucket also has to be modified to fit.

It used a Walbro pump, but it is modified in such a way that it drops right into the bucket without having to modify the bucket itself.

You need to shave the ribs on the inside of the bucket a little bit.

On mine I had to replace the O ring, since it was a tad bit too big. Not bad, an extra 30 cents from True Value.
