msd coil 8226

i recently installed new msd coil on my 95 trans am after driving for awhile when the car enterd closed loop a small miss sprung up, then the car barely stayed running almost like a bad opti.got home checked for codes none where present ,then I put the old coil back on the car and it ran fine .other than getting a bad coil out of the box could the new coil have put extra strain on ignition parts to cause this.

Could be just a bad coil. It happens. Also could be one of the connectors was not making good contact.

Shoebox has been using MSD coil for awhile now, and I have been using Accel coil.... I havent had any problems, nor do I believe Shoebox has either????

As stated, it might just be a bad coil......

My original MSD coil did die, but it died slowly. I got a warrany replacement for free from them. That was around 9 years ago, LOL! Still using the same coil.
