Misfire diagnosis and a big thank you!!

First off, thanks to all the knowledgable folks who post in this forum. I was able to do the cap and rotor on my '95 Z28 by just searching for info and not posting. Thanks again! As for the misfire diagnosis. Scanned it, no codes. Car only has 53k miles. In storage for seven years. Became hard starting, could not get on the gas hard, it would just stumble. Then it would start from cold just seemingly like it was running in the wrong firing order. All voltages were good. Pulled the cap and rotor and found heavy indications of arcing in the form of burnt traces in the plastic cap. Get her all back together, same thing. Did some more searching. Pulled the coil wire, cleaned the terminal on the coil, replaced the coil wire (from the coil to the cap) and now she's perfect! NEVER OVERLOOK THE SIMPLE THINGS! Again, could not have done it without everyones help. I am posting to pass on what I learned and hopefully help someone else. Thanks.

Glad you're up and running! Too bad our distributors are so hard to work on.
