Mallory 685 dead

I didn't make it but about 5 miles and the damn thing seems to have fried on me. It wasn't near any high heat or water and now it won't work at all. I've emailed Mallory about it today and am awaiting a response this week. I wanted to see if anyone else had this happen.

I'm guessing it's not just a simple matter of resetting anything. The car runs perfect on the stock ignition.

Where do you guys have your boxes mounted? I haven't had any problems with mine yet, but I do have it mounted in the trunk area where it can breathe.

I tried the glovebox as well.

How does it breathe in the trunk? Is it under the sub or where?

I had mine die on me twice. It is located where the stock air filter was.

Mallory sent me a repaired on once. Then sent me essentially a new one afterwards. I havent tried it out yet.

I called Mallory's tech line. Dont call their general tech line - I have waited for over 30 min and not reached anyone. The guy to speak to is Terry Nelson. his direct # is 775-283-0346. He is very helpful.
