LTCC & MSD Cap

Ok, so i decided to go with an LTCC setup. The stock unit looks to be in decent condition(never ran the car with it). I was wondering if the MSD cap & rotor are any stronger then the OEM? I'm pretty sure i read somewhere that the rotor was made out of better material which helps from it exploding at 6800+.

Do ya'll think its worth the money or to just use my stock one.. ANd remember i'm just talking about the cap & rotor NOT the entire MSD unit.

Why waste the money on an MSD cap/rotor if you're going to use the LTCC setup? The LTCC uses only the optical section of your existing optispark.

All you need to do to prevent the rotor from coming apart is take the opti apart and cut the "arm" off the rotor...just make it perfectly round where it won't become harmonically imbalanced at high rpm.

Please go back and research mods before you do them. The question proves that you do not have any understanding of what the LTCC setup does. You will get a LOT farther modding your car if you understand what you are putting on and why.
