lt1 spark plug wire suggestions

hi guys im new to lt1's and the site and after a bit of reading its seems burning wires are a constant. I just aquired 94 z28 and im just trying to find the most effective way to keep plug wires on with pacesetter headers on. I know of the otvc, but are there any other effective ways that will work?

Good quality Accells or MSDs will work, but you still need to protect them from the headers somehow. The fiberglass boots are a big help, but the important thing is to carefully route them away form the headers and tie them out of the way somehow to anything that is handy to keep them away from the immediate heat. You can put sleeves or high heat split loom on the wires for abrasion resistance which helps when you tie them to brackets and stuff, but sleeves can keep in moisture if your car gets wet often.

You may think I am crazy

I run pacesetter long tubes over new stock 7mm wires in the factory looms with no issues. I use the stock metal heat insulators over plugs 5 and 6.

No Issues.
