I have a 99 3.8 automatic I lost my keys and need to more the car any ideas on how I can get it started Ive heard u cant hotwire these cars because of the vats system Im playing on ordering a new ignition but im moving and don't have time to wait or money to pay a tow truck thank you mark

 

Proof of ownership, VIN and a trip to the dealer should get you a key. Not gonna be free. Your other choice would be to do a resistor bypass, trying the resistance values of all the key pellets until you found the correct one, then still have to rig up wiring to start and run the car (since you won't be able to turn the key and use the ignition switch). You'll need an ignition switch wiring schematic for your car and the ability to read it. The first suggestion would be the easiest and least destructive to your wiring.
