Hey guys,

Can someone tell what the diff really is ? my question is when dose the MSD 6 run out of spark to sport a high HP Eng and then you need to set up to the 7...

I have asked the FI guys and they have made 800rwhp with the MSD 6 but would there be a diff if the 7 was put on ??

Could you really tell my why as well so i can understand...

From my understanding it's not a matter of horsepower that limits the 6 to go to 7. The 7 has more features, that you can read on their website, and has a little more ease of use. The 6AL is good to 8k RPM. I don't think too many people are running 8k. That's probably why everyone uses a 6 over a 7. Just my two cents.
