how to install the tach on an lt1

how to install the tach on an lt1

i know in older motors hook them up to the distribuator but what about the lt1 motors? were do you hook the wire up 2?

If you have an MSD box that is the easiest way to wire it up but if not I think you can tap into a wire from the OBD port.

dont have an msd how would i tap in into the obd? what wire and is it a pain in the ***? the reason iam asking is i need the tach so i can brake the cam in.

Off the top of my head I am not sure. I think you can find the pinout on shoebox's site.
