Here we go, another fuel system thread!

Hey guys, first off I have a 97 ta with a 355 and an F1A shooting for 700rwhp (or more) with meth, fmic and up to 18psi if I need to. I have my eye on the lonnies double pumper kit for the pumps and for injectors I was considering the new 79's but I started thinking about getting a boost referenced adjustabel regulator and running 60's while cranking up the base pressure a bit.
Thoughts?

Ive been happy with my Versafueler and 72# lowZ units. I can keep my fuel pressure at the factory setting. Idles extremely well, and excelelent street manners.

Id like to stay with a high impedance to avoid extra costs and such.

$315 bux isnt that bad considering all the potential you open up. Ive just dont think you will be happy with the performance of a high impedence injector with that high of # rating. Look into the Versafueler, some 9 sec rides out there running it.

I'm definately keeping it in mind as a possibility. I just came across the nasty performance stage 2 street kit and that sounds like a very nice option to go with!

Regardless of what you choose for your fuel system components, it is advisable to use an AFPR on a F.I. motor so the motor sees a "constant" fuel pressure under different boost conditions.
