help!! opti gurus

I am changing a waterpump seal on a friends 95LTI, as I unplugged the opti I noticed the seal ring on elec, plug was gone, found it behind opti, the plug had some oil on it and down in the socket, friend said no water had been on it. I took cover off it was dry just alot of white dust on and by contacts, slight build-up on rotor, is this norm or does he need a new cap and rotor (car was running ok). Should I clean the opti wheel (with maf spray)to be sure no oil is on it. When I spin the rotor I feel a little roughness but I think that may be normal. Didn't mean to be so windy but was trying to give you a pic of what I saw. Where do I go from here before install? Danny Mc

White crust is common on the contacts over time. It will eventually cause mis/no fires. Since you're there, change it to save having to do it eventually for the same reason.
