Can I use 30lbs Injectors??

Hi, I keep getting conflicting information for my set up. Need the advice of someone who has been there. My 93 LT1 Has a comp 305 cam. 220-230 duration .510 lift. Custom tune, air intake and flowmaster. My injectors are shot, I want to replace with thirty pounders but some people suggest I stay with 24lbs. I do need good part throttle response, because I run into alot of congested traffic in town. I also have speed density, OBD I , not mass airflow. Would like to go with 30lb, but don't want additional tuning problems.

I ran 30# injectors on a 97 LT1. A hypertech tune, but, no adjustment to the injector constant calibration. It ran rich @ first, but, ran good after the PCM adjusted the BLM's. At that time, I ran a P600B Procharger and an FMU. The spike in fuel rail pressure would cause the stock injector pintel to be forced closed @ approximately 90 psi. It was difficult to adjust the FMU. I've since moved on to a 383 - D1 set-up with 72# peak & hold Seimens injectors. I use LT1_edit version 2.2. Hope this helps. B.

Yes, I will get a re-tune, I just want it to run well after that. Not drowning in fuel.
