Boost control ****

I have the msd 6btm and it has the boost control ****. It has 0,1,2 & 3 for settings. What one should i set it on for 6psi's of boost?

You talking about an adjustable timing retard ****? If so,those are degree's of timing to take out,make a pass in the car and if it breaks up/detonates,just adjust it one level at a time until you find the sweet spot.

I think yours has a max of 15 degrees and the 1 setting is 1 degree/lb boost the 2 is 2 degrees/lb boost, etc. So if you set it to 1 1/2 you will get 1 1/2 degrees/lb of boost - that is about where you should leave it on premium gas. Of course, they aren't quite as accurate as all that, and a dyno tune would help nail it down so you don't waste power.
