96 camaro ignition switch

Hello I recently bought a new ignition switch, and it starts my car but cuts out the air conditioning fan and also my turn signals. My old ignition switch would not always start the car but it would always run the ac and turn signals. This is confusing me and aggravating me beyond belief because i put alot of money into this car. If anyone knows why the new switch would cut out the ac fan and turn signals or has answers please help
Thanks,Charles

Perhaps you did not get it adjusted correctly when you installed it.

The rod has to be specifically postioned per the instructions that came with the switch.
