90 degree, or straight boot

i'm buying my pacesetter long tubes next week.

i dont really want to do an over the valve cover setup

i'm planning on buying MSD 8.5 wires, covered with kevlar sleeves near the boot.

do i use the 121-32129 with the straight boot or the 121-32139 with the 90 degree boots.

I've heard of people going both directions, 90 degrees is the common one though. That is what I always used, even with long tube headers for a short while before switching to OTVC wires, which are also 90 degree boots.

excellent

but, is stock routing gonna be alright? my roommate had pacesetters on his LT1 formula, and he was burning wires left and right. even after he wrapped the headers and bought the boot protecters.

i'm going to buy the slip on kevlar boot protecters anyways, but i would like to not do the OVC mod

I used to have a stock wire setup with my Pacesetter LTs. I had to secure a couple of the wires away with cable ties. Because of that, I didn't burn any wires.
